Role: Microsoft Diagnostic Engineer – Teams
Experience: 4 – 6 years
Location: Hyderabad/Remote
Essential Functions:
· Collaborates with consults with customers, vendors, and contractors to provide expert technical solutions in support of contracts in a fast pace and demanding environment
· Follows up with customer contacts to ensure satisfactory resolutions
· Reports findings, tracks progress, and documents customer communication within incident management system
· Manages workload in a manner that meets defined Service Level Objectives
· Develops positive working relationships with internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
· Experience and knowledge with managing Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business
· Support end-user technical issues related to Skype for Business and Teams
· Provide engineering support for live events using Microsoft Teams Live Events
· Provide tier 3 engineering support for escalated issues and resolve tickets within established SLAs
· Experience in migration from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams
· Strong scripting and automation experience in PowerShell
· Proven record in planning, architecting, and deploying Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Teams Room in a large enterprise
· A conceptual understanding of routing/switching/QoS, proxies, firewalls, Session Border Controllers and their potential impact on voice, video, and web streaming network environments
· Experience and knowledge with Azure AD Group, O365 license management and O365 groups
· Proven record in analyzing, troubleshooting, and creating root cause analysis (RCA) reports with action plans on remediation
· Strong analytical, interpersonal, facilitation and leadership skills along with effective oral/written communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among multiple concurrent projects while also handling interruptions
· Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users
Desired/Preferred qualifications:
· Industry certifications on telephony and associated technology solutions Microsoft products
· Two years working experience in the managed services industry
· 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Teams/Skype
· Familiar with both voice and data equipment and technologies
Certifications:
· Microsoft Teams Administration (MS-700) Certification.
· Microsoft Teams Support Engineer (MS-740) Certification.
· Experience deploying Microsoft Teams Rooms (Poly Devices)
